This 1.5" fish was first discovered in southern China. The white cloud mountain minnow is considered endangered if not extinct in the wild, so these are responsibly bred and raised in my fish room!

These fish are the perfect beginner fish but don't be mistaken - they are just as satisfying for all aquarists to keep. They have a charming and curious personality. They are also beautiful to look at, with a dark grey body, a vibrant blue lateral line and red features on the fins. White cloud mountain minnows don't require a heater (we are currently breeding ours in 68 degree water) and they are extremely hardy.

White clouds are also one of the easiest egg scattering fish to breed, making them a great way for aquarists to get started breeding egg scatterers!
