Rainbowfish are generally aggressive eaters! Small high quality flake food, nano pellets, baby brine shrimp, and any other small frozen or live foods.

PH: 6.0 - 8.0

Water Hardness: Relatively soft to relatively hard water

Rainbowfish love to stretch their fins and swim! These fish get approximately 5" at adult size, so a tank at least 3 ft long is ideal although 4-6 feet is even better. These fish swim at the surface and middle areas of the water column and get along with most community fish. These fish are agressive eaters and could potentially outcompete slower species for food, so please keep that in mind.
